Privacy notice
MetaStripper is designed so image processing remains local. Online systems handle only the data needed for accounts, trials, licensing, activation, security, and purchases.
Local file processing
Images, archives, and files selected in the desktop application are processed on your computer. MetaStripper does not operate an upload-based cleaning or encryption service and does not receive those source files through the normal desktop workflow.
- No advertising SDKs are included.
- No desktop usage telemetry is sent to MetaStripper.
- Reports and encrypted containers remain local unless you choose to share them.
- Passwords used for archives or encrypted containers are not saved in application settings.
Account and licensing data
When you sign in, start a trial, activate a license, or view your account, we process identifiers and records needed to provide and protect those functions.
- Account identity and an internal pseudonymous subject identifier.
- License, plan, entitlement, activation, device, status, and timestamp records.
- Security and rate-limit events needed to prevent abuse.
- Purchase and fulfillment references, but not full payment card data.
Cookies, language detection, and browser sessions
The public product and legal pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies. At an unlocalized entry URL, the page reads the browser language locally to choose among reviewed translations; that value is not stored or sent as analytics. The account portal uses a strictly necessary secure HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in and protect the checkout handoff. Authentication and payment providers may set their own necessary cookies when you use those services.
- No cookie consent banner is shown because MetaStripper does not currently set optional marketing or analytics cookies.
- Browser session data is not used to inspect or upload your files.
- Provider cookies are governed by the provider's own notice.
Service providers
Auth0 provides authentication. Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes checkout, payment, tax, receipt, and refund information under its own privacy terms. Infrastructure and encrypted backup providers process limited service data on our behalf.
- Payment card details are entered into Paddle's checkout.
- MetaStripper does not store full payment card numbers.
- Provider access is limited to the service each provider supplies.
Purposes and legal bases
We use online data to perform the license and account contract, provide requested trials, secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and answer support requests. Where consent is required, it can be withdrawn for future processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Retention and security
Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for active licenses, account support, fraud prevention, financial and legal obligations, dispute handling, and secure backups. Production databases are encrypted in off-site backups and recovery is tested. No internet service can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
- Licensing records may need to remain for the life of a perpetual license.
- Backup copies expire according to operational retention schedules.
- Access is restricted to authorized operational purposes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to receive portable data. Some records must be retained where required by law or to establish and defend legal claims. Contact admin@metastripper.pro to make a request.
International processing and contact
Service providers may process data outside your country using their published transfer safeguards. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to admin@metastripper.pro.
